  • A SHAPE IAS privacy policy is designed to inform students and users about how their personal information is collected, used, and protected. This privacy policy applies to the services made available at https://www.shapeias.com and its subdomains alongside our mobile application. The website and mobile application will be hereinafter collectively referred to as Platform.

You're Consent to This Policy By accessing our website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This document supersedes any prior communication on this topic and reflects the entire and exclusive Privacy Policy for this site. This Policy is subject to our Terms of Use, which take precedence over any conflicting Policy provision. We may change our Policy by posting a new version of it on our site.


We collect Names, Emails and Profile pictures during the Login/Signup feature. This information is used to create the user's account and to send emails regarding services provided by us.


A user can send an email to enquiry@Shapeias.com Email ID to get his/her account deleted from our system. We will erase the data of the user from our system. However, in some cases, we will retain the information for as long as it is required for the purpose of complying with legal obligations or business compliances.

Shape IAS may also disclose account information in special cases when we believe it is necessary to identify, investigate, prevent, or take legal action against someone who may be breaking the Terms of Services or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Shape IAS rights or property; to defend and protects the right, or safety of Shape IAS, website/App users, or others; and in connection with our Terms of Service and other agreements.


Use of Information:


The policy will outline how the collected information is used. This might include purposes such as enrollment processing, communication, course delivery, academic support, and administrative functions. A user may contact us in order to remove, deactivate or edit his/her account information and profile by logging into our website/App to update his/her information. The requested changes may take up to 24Hrs to appear online because of the verification process and server cache policies.


Note that after deletion or deactivation of the account, the user will not be able to access any members. The additional residual information will remain in our archives and records, but that will not be used for commercial purposes.


We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, in particular for the following reasons:

1) Internal record keeping.

2) We may use the information to improve our products and services.

3) We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address you have provided.

If you use a feature requiring payment of a fee, we transmit your credit card/other card data to our bank for processing. If we encounter a problem with payment, we may review the order information with you and our bank to resolve it. We do not otherwise disclose your card information. We do not share your email address or your personal information with third-party marketers. However, no data transmissions over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet, and you do so at your own risk.


How Long Do We Retain User Data?


Currently, we plan to retain user data while an account is active and for at least three years afterwards. We may alter this practice according to legal and business requirements. For example, we may lengthen the retention period for some data if needed to comply with law or voluntary codes of conduct. Unless otherwise prohibited, we may shorten the retention period for some types of data if needed to free up storage space.

Location information - Access to location/GPS data is optional and doesn't affect the services at all. If the user has granted access to the location/GPS data, We may collect and use this information to create a heatmap or to improve our services in a particular geographical region.


Teenagers:


We do not contact children under the age of 15 about special offers or for marketing purposes without a parent's permission.
