After being active in the field of the UPSC IAS exam for the almost last ten years and being present at various stages of this prestigious exam, I have come to the conclusion from my observation that the remote and backward areas of the country,[from which I myself also belong] Even in this era of the information revolution, where there is a lot of content-information on just one click, but along with accurate and exam-useful content, there is a confusion in the minds of newcomers regarding better preparation strategy, guidance.
I can say from my experiences that along with proper guidance, and smart study, luck is less significant but also important for this prestigious exam. Our commitment is about exam-useful content, proper guidance and better strategy, you have to be synonymous with success. Yes, it is true that we are driven by commercial interest, but business ethics and affordability are our motto. Another important message for the candidates is to take this exam in a natural way, not as life-death or success or failure of life. It is a career choice just like any other career choice, not a unique thing in the universe. Yes, it definitely has a little edge due to the variety of subject matter and syllabus but it is not the best. We all know that Mahatma Gandhi was not a Civil Servant [ICS] but Subhash Chandra Bose and Satyendra Nath Tagore were. Everyone fought for freedom. The essence is that this is just an exam, not a sign of success in life.
